Forensic anthropology is, in essense, all about human identification. Usually however, it is thought of as the application of techniques derived from biological anthropology to a forensic context. As such, it differs fundamentally from forensic pathology, forensic science and forensic archaeology.

Recently. his case-work has focussed on the NE England, but he has worked in Scotland and abroad in the Balkans, the Middle East and in Asia.
